Taima uses a premium Grade 1 titanium cooking surface combined with a multi-layer core for fast, even heating. Instead of relying on a conventional synthetic non-stick coating, its SlipScale™ textured surface is engineered to improve food release while delivering the durability expected from premium cookware.
The food-contact cooking surface is made with 99.86% Grade 1 titanium. The pan uses a multi-layer construction underneath that combines heat-conductive core layers with a durable stainless-steel exterior for better heat distribution, strength and cooktop compatibility.
No conventional PFAS, PTFE or PFOA non-stick coating is used on the cooking surface. Taima instead uses its SlipScale™ engineered surface pattern to help reduce food contact points and distribute a small amount of cooking oil more evenly.
For the best cooking and food-release performance, we recommend using a small amount of oil or butter. Proper preheating and temperature control are also important, especially when cooking delicate foods such as eggs or fish.
